The MWNA exists to promote a healthy and family friendly environment for residents of the Meredith Woods neighborhood. The neighborhood consists of 167 single-family homes. These include the homes on both the north and south side of Harden Road as well as homes on all interior neighborhood roads as they appear on the map below.

As discussed in the MWNA Bylaws, the purposes of the MWNA are the following:

a) To provide an organization for the citizens of Meredith Woods to deal with any and all issues which affect the quality of life in this family neighborhood;

b) To take such action as will protect and enhance the quality and desirability of Meredith Woods as a family neighborhood community;

c) To represent its members before any political, governmental, or civic body; and

d) To provide for appropriate liaison and cooperative action with any other civic association or organization on matters of mutual concern.

In addition, the MWNA endeavors to foster an engaged community and organizes and hosts a variety of social events throughout the year with the purpose of bringing together neighbors via entertainment and social events.
